Empathetic, caring, and engaged Vermonters eager to rise to the occasion for those who have done the same for us.
The Veterans' Place is a structured transitional home in which unhoused veterans can safely recover and rehabilitate. We provide a homelike, family environment, nutritious home-cooked meals, and hands-on assistance to help veterans navigate and resolve any administrative or medical barriers to receiving earned benefits. In return, residents agree to overcome any substance dependencies, assist in home chores, work toward self-sufficiency, and pay a modest participation fee if they are able.

Please note that we are only able to accept donations during regular working hours. This allows our staff to approve the items and help with unloading and storing donations. Arrangements for weekend drop-off can be made in advance on a case-by-case basis.
